I recently stayed at a guest house in a South African city, and my experience was fantastic. The location was excellent, just a few minutes' walk from a beautiful park and some lovely restaurants. The two rooms we booked were spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and plenty of towels. The shower was a highlight, with a great water pressure and lovely spa-like amenities. We loved the attention to detail, including the turn-down service every night and the complimentary coffee and desserts from the restaurant next door. The staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome throughout our stay.

The breakfast system, which required us to pre-order our takeaway breakfast the night before. This was inconvenient, as we sometimes changed our plans in the morning and had to miss out on breakfast.

The Cycad Guest House in Polokwane is a classy and exceptional place with a wonderful team. The rooms, especially 20 and 22, are beautiful, spacious, and well-appointed. The comfortable bed and high-quality linen ensure a great night's sleep. The shower with amenities is fantastic. The nearby Fusion restaurant offers delicious dining options, including exquisite desserts. Great value for money and a personal touch to everything.
